Please examine this policy thoroughly prior to booking. By reserving a charter with InnovationInsightZone, you are consenting to these refund conditions.
Standard Cancellation and Refund Schedule
More than 72 Hours Before Charter
Qualified for: Complete refund excluding processing charges
Processing Duration: 5-7 working days
Processing Expense: €50 for credit card operations
Requirements: Cancellation needs to be requested in a written format via email or telephone
24-72 Hours Before Charter
Qualified for: Half the total charter expense
Processing Duration: 7-10 working days
Processing Expense: €25 reduction from the refund
Requirements: A valid justification is needed; administrative costs incurred
Less than 24 Hours Before Charter
Qualified for: Refunds are not available
Exception: Emergency conditions might be considered
Alternative: A charter voucher could be provided at the company's discretion
Requirements: Proof is necessary for emergency cases
Weather-Related Cancellations
Our Weather Guarantee
Security is our highest concern. Should our certified captain decide that weather conditions are unsafe for sailing, we offer several flexible options:
- Full Refund: A complete refund if rescheduling is not feasible
- Reschedule: Shift your booking to another open date at no cost
- Charter Credit: Obtain a voucher good for one year from the original sail date
Weather Assessment Process
Our weather evaluation involves:
- Analyses of wind speed and trajectory
- Examination of wave stature and ocean conditions
- Forecast of visibility and precipitation
- Advisories and cautions from the Coast Guard
- Safety assessment by our professional captain
Decision Timeline: Decisions on weather-related cancellations are made at least 4 hours prior to the planned departure time.
Medical Emergency Refunds
Emergency Circumstances
We recognize medical emergencies can arise unexpectedly. The following scenarios may be eligible for additional consideration:
- Sudden health incidents or injuries that necessitate hospitalization
- Passing away of a close relative
- Militaristic deployment or exigent recall
- Summon for jury duty or a court subpoena
- Calamities impacting travel arrangements
Documentation Needs
For processing demands regarding medical emergencies, please supply:
- Hospital paperwork or a medical certificate
- Death certification if relevant
- Formal military directives
- Legal summons or jury duty notices
- Travel warnings or emergency notices
Processing: Refunds related to emergencies are handled within 3-5 working days upon receiving appropriate proof.
Operational Cancellations
Mechanical Issues
If the yacht allocated to you faces mechanical issues that are irresolvable:
- Replacement Vessel: We will try to find a similar substitute
- Full Refund: Offered if a suitable replacement is not found
- Partial Refund: Provided if the substitution vessel varies in price
- Compensation: Additional recompense might be offered for the inconvenience
Crew Availability Issues
On the uncommon occasion that a certified crew is not available:
- When feasible, a substitute crew will be organized
- Complete refund if the charter is unable to proceed
- Opportunity to reschedule without extra charges
Refund Processing
Reimbursement Method
Refunds will be credited using the initial payment method provided during reservation:
- Credit/Debit Cards: 5-7 business days
- Wire Transfers: 7-10 business days
- Cash or Check: 3-5 business days
Transaction Charges
Credit Card Transactions
€50 levy for cancellations executed over 72 hours ahead of schedule
Bank Transfer Transactions
€25 charge for all reimbursements made via bank transfer
International Transactions
Supplementary charges could be applicable for transactions occurring outside domestic borders
Charter Credits
Occasions for Credits
Charter credits may be granted in place of refunds under certain situations:
- Late cancellation occurrences (under 24 hours notice)
- Cancellations related to weather
- Requests for voluntary rescheduling
- Disruptions in operations
Credit Specifications
- Validity: 12 months from the issuance date
- Transferability: Credits cannot be allocated to other individuals
- Value: Equal to the full charter price (processing charges are omitted)
- Application: Usable on any upcoming available charters
- Expiration: No extensions post the 12-month duration
Partial Service Refunds
Interruptions During Service
If your charter experience is disrupted or curtailed due to our operable factors:
- Proportional refund contingent on the unutilized duration
- Credit equivalent to a future charter of similar value
- Gratis services or enhancements
Disturbances Caused by Guests
Should a charter be prematurely concluded due to actions of guests or breaches of safety codes:
- No compensation for the time not used
- Full settlement is still mandatory
- Potential additional costs may be incurred
Conflict Resolution
In the event of a disagreement over a refund determination, you may:
- Put in a request for review by our supervisory team
- Present extra evidence or documentation
- Look for a resolution via consumer protection organizations
- Engage in legal channels as stipulated by prevailing law

Our team will acknowledge your claim within a day, appraise it against our policy, revert with a decision within two days, and execute sanctioned refunds as per the specified windows.
